The panoramic view
From the upper floors of Les Horizons, looking across Rennes feels surprisingly close to looking out over the sea: the eye travels far and your pace naturally slows.
The city remains fully present. Movement, light and sound rise from the streets then merge at height into a kind of white noise around the suite. You can still sense the busy life below while experiencing a distinctive calm, almost like a cocoon suspended above it.
Some moments make that feeling even more striking. You may hear seagulls passing overhead. When a storm crosses Rennes, the sky takes on a spectacular scale from this height. The panorama becomes a living part of the experience alongside the light, water and music.

From the whirlpool bath
The two-person whirlpool bath faces the panorama and adds another layer to the way the city is perceived.
Warm water, massage jets, chromotherapy and city lights create a contrast between the very private interior of the suite and Rennes continuing below. Fresh water is renewed for every bath.

From daylight to darkness
The panorama becomes a moving experience: the light transforms the city and the atmosphere of the suite with it.
Within a few hours, the same landscape moves from the softness of late afternoon to the city lights and then the visual quiet of night. A storm can turn the view into a spectacle. In the morning, Rennes gradually returns to the frame from the bed.
Les Horizons
The view exists because the building itself was conceived around vertical living.
Les Horizons was designed by Georges Maillols in the 1970s. Its cylindrical volumes and modernist silhouette contribute to this distinctive way of looking across Rennes. Love Horizons occupies the upper floors of the building and naturally inherits that relationship with height.
