Rennes: the best starting point in Brittany
Rennes is not only the capital of Brittany — it is its crossroads. All the region’s major destinations can be reached from here, by direct roads or regular trains. From Love Horizons, you are 90 metres above the city centre, a few minutes on foot from the station and less than 10 minutes from the main motorway exits.
The idea is simple: one night, or two, in the suite, and Brittany opens up before you. Private jacuzzi in the evening, road trip in the morning. Or road trip first, jacuzzi later. You decide the programme.
Saint-Malo — 1 hour
Saint-Malo is the most natural destination from Rennes. One hour by car or direct train, and you are on the ramparts with the Channel in front of you. The corsair city deserves a full day — the ramparts, the beaches, Grand Bé at low tide, the restaurants inside the old walled town.
The ideal rhythm: arrival at Love Horizons on Friday evening, night 90 metres high, excursion to Saint-Malo on Saturday, then return for a second night in the suite. Two radically different experiences in the same weekend.
Dinard — 1 hour
Just opposite Saint-Malo, across the Rance, Dinard has a very different character. Belle Époque villas, the Promenade du Clair de Lune, Écluse beach — a seaside elegance that perfectly contrasts with its corsair neighbour. Both can be visited in the same day from Rennes.
Dinan — 1 hour
Dinan is one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Brittany. Intact ramparts, a deep-set port on the Rance, cobbled streets and half-timbered houses — a day in Dinan feels like travelling back in time. One hour from Rennes, it is the perfect cultural escape before returning to relax in the Love Horizons hammam.
Mont Saint-Michel — 1h15
Mont Saint-Michel is 1h15 from Rennes by car. It is one of the most spectacular sites in France, and even more impressive off season when the crowds give way to silence. Leave early, drive to the Mont, spend the day on the rock, return to Rennes in the late afternoon, then spend the night at Love Horizons. This is exactly the kind of day you keep talking about for a long time.
Fougères — 45 minutes
Fougères is home to one of the largest medieval castles in Europe — and yet, many people still do not really know it. That is part of its charm: no crowds, no mass tourism, just a strong and authentic place. 45 minutes from Rennes, it is the perfect half-day trip before going up 90 metres for the night.
Vitré — 30 minutes
Vitré is the closest — only 30 minutes from Rennes. Its castle perched on a promontory, its narrow streets and half-timbered houses make it one of the most beautiful character towns in Ille-et-Vilaine. Perfect for a quick stop in the morning before arriving at Love Horizons, or the next day before heading home.
What awaits you at Love Horizons
Between each excursion, you return to the same suite:
- Private double jacuzzi facing the panoramic view over Rennes;
- Private hammam with chromotherapy and essential oils;
- View from 90 metres high over the whole city, by night and by day;
- King-size bed with premium mattress;
- Adjustable lighting atmosphere from a tablet;

Only one couple at a time. The suite is entirely yours for the whole stay. You leave rested in the morning, and return in the evening to your own private bubble.
How to organise your weekend from Rennes
Two options depending on your plan:
- Arrival on Friday evening — night at Love Horizons, excursions on Saturday and/or Sunday, departure from Rennes;
- Arrival on Saturday morning — day trip during the day, return in the late afternoon, night at Love Horizons, departure on Sunday.
In both cases, Love Horizons is the foundation of the weekend — the place you return to, where you breathe out, where the weekend takes on its true romantic dimension.
